Seiji Hayami is a major supporting character in the Cutie Honey franchise. He is primarily depicted as a journalist, as well as being the first to discover Honey Kisaragi's secret alter ego, Cutie Honey. In most series and versions of the Cutie Honey series, Seiji aids Honey in her quest for revenge against Panther Claw, a terrorist organization responsible for the murder of Honey's father, Dr. Kisaragi Takeshi.

In here he is 1st seen trying to help Takeshi Kisaragi but dr K bites it. He sees the robot Dr K tell honey of her body and of Panther Claw. He chooses to join Honey in her crusade against them. Later he's in the hospital with Danbei Hayami and Junpei Hayami for some reason and Panther Claw captures him. But Honey saves him and kills Fire Claw and brings him back to the hospital. Later Seiji asks Honey to go somewhere and fight Panther Claw as PC said they'd steal from this place. He sez that they think they're Lupin or something. But it was a trap by PC and they fight but Get captured. Honey escapes but she forgot about him. PC gets him nude and Tarantula Panther uses her web powers to turn Iron Shadow into a copy of Seiji, who finds and follows Honey and finds her school. After Honey's school gets f'd, Sister Jill decides to let Seiji go just like that. He returns home and tells Honey that PC wants to steal the Golden Buddha at midnight. He decides to stay out of Honey's way and let her take care of it. He's not seen until the end of the manga after honey fights Sister Jill and arrives with his dad and brother and they see her nude.

This version, Seiji is an private eye instead of his early incarnations. Unlike any of his incarnations, Seiji helps almost all the time to Honey to defeat Panther Claw while having feeling for Honey during her battles.
His father (who is NOT Danbei in this version but a very hot guy named Hayato) was killed by Panther Claw when he was 13 years old during a trip on a cruise ship and he has held the grudge against them ever since. He also had a baby named Seira with Honey (Honey had a sister named Seira in this version).

Chapter 2[]
After a fight with Kikunosuke Abashiri, Seiji tells Honey The Abashiri Family isn't evil and improved things after clearing out the Yakuza and only do bad to bad guys. Honey sees it as evil vs evil like Devilman and the family has their own morality. An arrow busts in the window w/a note from Daemon saying he challenges her for unclothing his sexy daughter and if Honey don't come he'd boil Kikunosuke in a pot. Seiji sez they're villains who'd do it and Daemon has psychic powers so Honey sees she has no choice. Oh and his detective agency is a cr-p shack under a bridge. (Just like his Cutie Honey: the Live counterpart)

Here he's investigating Dr Kisaragi and when Black Claw attacked he hi a wounded Dr. K in the wardrobe and took his place. Hoey slagged blacky and they found Dr. K as he died but a recording Hologram told a last message to Honey. They left and the house disintegrated leaving a tombstone as he hugs Honey. Later he's at an art theft thing by Sister Jill and calls Honey on his watch so when she comes he sez the Panthers vanished ad no one noticed. A big black <man thing armored car busts out and Honey goes after it and later Seiji watches the news on a cr-ppy flatscreen tv instead of a REAL one that don't need the internet to update. It sez of the robbery last chapter but the art was in a fireproof safe. Seiji sez it was Honey and Danbei thinks its Seiji's gf but he sez no and Danbei thinks its a man and his son got turned like the degrassi guys. Danbei is bummed after a bunch of wives his son has sunk so low but in a suspect way, Seiji sez its complicated if Honey is a man or a woman, like he's on blue sky and can't tell. Junpei comes in saying Honey is here for Seiji and Danbei is amazed how hot she is and wants her. Seiji don't wanna call Honey mom like with Missy in Bill And Ted and sez to watch out for him as tries to marry any woman he likes. Text sez he was Daemon Abashiri with Naojiro, Goemon, Kikunosuke and Kichiza with the Hayami's being his 5th weeding. They live in the Hayami Detective Agency like with Seiko Hayami and Junpei sez he's the assistant to his cr-ppy bro but Seiji disagrees and sez Junpei's a purvo like dad. Honey asks of Panther Claw and Seiji sez this realms rules don't apply to em as they appear/vanish lie nothing and he thinks they might be demons or witches. Honey wants to Ambush em and Seiji sez they like jewels and babes so Honey decides to be the bait and not the Master Class. Seiji don't want Honey to be bait cuz Panther Claw turns babes into beasts like Black Claw so if she's turned its bad news. Danbei shows a sexy woman statue exhibit Panther Claw might target. Honey/Seiji go at 1AM so its closed but he knows the owner who told da guards to let em in. Danbei's dressed like a Ninja cuz he's an Heir to the Iga-Iga Ninja school an Honey thinks its cool. They go to the Claude Art Gallery after Claude Q who did the Cutey Honey Song and the doors open with everyone KO'd. The naked statues are there and a blonde in shades asks if she's Honey but when Honey sez yes she reveals she's Sister Jill and Panther Claw dames bust out da statues, Tomahawk Panther/Jumbo Panther/Tarantula Panther/Blaster Claw/Iron Shadow. Danbei sez she's his daughter Honey Hayami and Jill sez seems right but she's hot so we'll take her. Danbei uses ninja smoke but only he/Seiji are out and the Tarantula Panther caught Honey in a bag. Jill wants to infect her with devil cells With The Help Of Kyojiiiii and Honey texts Seiji she infiltrated Panther Claw. Danbei/Seiji drive to a cliff the GPS points to but this time its right as behind the illusion is a demon mansion. Danbei/Seiji sneak in and he sez he was in Abashiri Family and did many crimes. Seiji has a model gun to look cool and they find the hot springs with the Panther 5kanks in human forme and find em hot but they smell men and get b--chy. Danbei offers the men getting naked to even it out and they like it as they aint had men for a while(Since WHEN did Panther Claw turn Straight?!)but its a joke and they turn to Panther Claw modes. but leave as a dog ear one senses something in Jills room. They go there as Honey fights naked Jill asking what forme she prefers, human or demon. Jill sez Honey iced Black Claw and is Dr. K's Android so Tomahawk attacks and loses her head. Jills gonna ice her for it but the place blows from Danbei using Di No Mite on it and Hurricane Honey escapes with the men.Danbei/Seiji see there's no news of the mansion blowing on tv/paper/net but they saw it burn. After going back they found a residential area and Danbei sez its like a Sci Fi Manga. Seiji sez it was a subspace of twisted space or other dimension and Danbei goes to the Abashiri Family for breakfast with Kikunosuke, Goemon, Naojiro and Kichiza. The Panthers see Seiji's alone and go in as he wonders what will happen in da manga with Kichiza I mean Junpei/Honey at school. He's glad it'll be Cutey Honey again and they beat him up/bust his place for not taking em srs. Honey in class checks her phone and tells Nat Seiji got hurt. In the clinic hospital Danbei tells Seiji he's important if they beat him up but Seiji sez its petty for a crime syndicate to do. Danbei sez they knew not to f with The Abashiri Family. Seiji thinks they could've iced him so they might be up to cr-p and Danbei sez they might think he's not worth it. A nurse comes in and Danbei flirts with her but she sez use da button if Panther Claw shows an he sees its Honey. Honey thinks they're using Seiji as bait and Scissor Claw is on the roof. Nurses question Honey who sez she's new and they say Jill has a trap for Honey so Honey sees its a Panther Trap and throws needles into em. Honey asks Danbei why they came her and is told the ambulance took em here. They leave and Scissor Claw confronts em so Honey flashes. Naked Jill is told by Panthers they have a trap and Honey hops over Scissor Claw as Seiji throws Danbei at her and Honey gets her through the back of the neck. Honey drives Seiji/Danbei home and turns the car to a bike to drive off as Hurricane Honey And thats all we see of em. I guess they're done. Gotta focus on girls b0ning girls and growing d0ngs like Angel Blade..

- In Cutey Honey F, Seiji is more than just a special assist which he is also have some inner feelings for Honey. Whenever Honey has doubt or down, Seiji always by her side as a consultation. In the Season 3 (and also Final)ending, Seiji seemly to be Honey's groom.
