Isn't the Dai in here Kanji for Great?
Daiku Maryu Gaiking (大空魔竜ガイキング Daiku Maryuu Gaiking) (Sky Devilsaur Gaiking) is a 70s Super Robot mecha anime by Toei Animation who gypped Go Nagai by leaving him uncredited. Toei calls it Dino Mech Gaiking for distribution things. It was on between April 1976 to January 1977 had 44 episodes. Gaiking was one of the few super robot series to take place in real places outside Japan. Also it was the first Super Robot series to have a mobile carrier for the chief robots. In America, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, Gaiking was part of Mattel's Shogun Warriors import toy line in the late 1970s. It also was in Jim Terry's Force Five anthology series. Those were cool maybe, I don't know, Imma 90s kid. In 2005 we got a remake called Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu.

Trivia[]
- Cuz Toei jyuued him on royalties, Go Nagai stopped working with em, this lasted 10 years, but they got back together. He confirmed he's the creator of it at Comicon 2007 in Naples, Italy. Those Italianoes are pretty cool.
- Discotek got it released in America like other Go Nagai things, it even included the cr-ppy William Winckler dub that wasted Robert Axelrod in Hokuto No Ken and Danguard Ace. I've seen p0rn0 with better acting and dubbing. And not just the 4kids actors ones!
- Accoding to back door animenewsnetwork, William Winckler combined 15 episodes into 3 movies. The first was 1, 2, 3, 22 & 23, the second was 25, 9, 12, 13 & 14 and the last was 17, 24, 33, 43 & 44. Man, even 4kids didn't do that bad.
